The riding stables are located near orange valley on the
foothills of the beautiful Troodos mountains in Cyprus.
The instruction team consists of Marisa Potamitou from Switzerland and Anne Kelly
from England. Marisa owns the farm and has lived in Cyprus for many years.
Marisa knows the people, the culture and the countryside very well. Anne
is qualified with the British Horse Society and has had many years of
riding experience. An
extremely capable horsewoman she is able to cater for all riding abilities from the novice
to the professional.
At the moment there are eight horses - Arabians, English
Thoroughbreds and Appaloosas.
They offer riding in both Western and English style,
in small groups or for individuals.
For experienced riders they can offer full or half day trails taking in
the breath-taking beauty of the Cypriot countryside with a welcome swimming pool break or
a lazy, relaxed lunch at the beach.
Whether you choose to take life at a heart-stopping gallop or a
leisurely walk our fantastic trails are guaranteed to take you into another world, a land
far from civilization dominated by fields and wild, uncompromising mountains.
But the riding stables do not only cater for experienced riders. Lessons
and short one hour treks are provided for the inexperienced rider making horse riding a
wonderful and real pleasure for everyone, young or old. They also give riding lessons in
the English, German and French languages.
