Riding in Cyprus

     If you want to do something a little different during your stay in Cyprus, try Riding. We have both horse riding and donkey riding. (The donkeys in Cyprus are famous for their size) In Larnaca at the Donkey park, or if you are staying in Ayia Napa or Protaras then the Horse riding ranch is a must and for Pafos it's here If you live here and are horse mad go and see any or all of these stables.

       The Donkey park is run by a British couple. You can have a short ride around the paddock or go for a quiet trek. Give them a ring to make your arrangements, don't forget to print out your discount voucher and have fun.  Hard hats are provided but it is always better when riding to wear reasonably sensible shoes, and trousers if you have them if not click here.    

  The Riding Ranch in Protaras is in a stunning position, the riding around there is great and the place is run by a professional ex-jockey who takes care of his animals.  If you want a riding holiday in this region, with some expert tuition and some very pretty scenery then this is the place for you. There are 2 types of accommodation on offer here, Nice and Ultra luxury, just be careful that your waistline doesn't increase too much to mount unaided.

Paphos is here, they can do riding holidays in nice accommodation (Old Cyprus village houses, click here for details ) and full day treks, we haven't checked them out yet , so your feedback would be welcome.
